Bamboozled (Paperback)

After a near-fatal car accident, Ferguson is shattered by PTSD. The meds she's prescribed don't work. On discovering that her hero Bill W, father of the 12 Step programme, used psychedelics to heal, she decides to embark on a similar journey. Despite being terrified that others may think she's relapsed back into the horror of her previous addictions, what unfolds is a life-changing spiritual adventure. Over the following five years, layers of self-destructive behaviour unravel.

Deep childhood wounds miraculously begin to heal. Then the world is hit full-force by a pandemic. To escape the madness, Ferguson finds her dream house, nestled in the Cedarberg. Then a woman is brutally murdered next door. What sometimes looks like heaven can transform into hell in an instant. Written in the author's no-holds barred signature style, Bamboozled is a deep exploration of self and our crumbling world. It's also about losing security and finding magic, while rescuing a dog who ends up rescuing her.
